Congratulations Chicco, God bless your future

Chicco has been part of the Kondanani Children’s Village family all his life, now at 24 he has plans for his own family… He leaves us shortly to follow his own path in life and we pray God’s richest blessing upon him and his plans. Kondanani founder Annie Chikhwaza shares her joy in all Chicco has accomplished, with much expectation for a bright future ahead.

I just love this. My Kondanani son, Chicco let me know that he wanted to have some time with me to discuss his future. He has finished university, and the future is wide open for him to as he says,”to become a man”. So beautiful to hear such mature words.

“Mummy I am leaving Kondanani at the end of the month. God has great plans with my life. I will get married this year, find a job and build my own family.

My babies are leaving, not easy. Chicco was just one day old when I took him in my arms the first time. He is now a man of nearly 25, serves God and is well educated. His next journey will not be a lonely one, he has Father God on his side, and found his partner for life, the lovely Chifundu.

I was so blessed in September when Chicco came and introduced his future wife to me. I felt rather emotional and yet very blessed. He is a fine young man, and Chifundo, his girlfriend a fine young woman. She will finish university at the end of next year. The first couple from Kondanani. I will soon meet her parents. So special.

I will never forget the day Chicco came to us as a one day old baby and to think he is now finished at university and planing to get married. We thank God for all He has done and is doing in His life.

I am waiting for the others who have finished university to come to me and ready to go to the next level after finishing university. Fine young peopole. It will cost me some tears.
